![]() | Stars Slumpin' Going 1-1-1 in their last three starts, the Stars just haven't been the same as they have been missing guys in some serious numbers. Going in with 6 or 7 guys just won't cut it at this level, as our guys need to get refocused and back in the game. The Stars lost to Fifty One Percent 3-1 then blew a late game to tie the Toronto Storm 3-3 in their last two games, both with low numbers. There isn't much else to say, without a full team nobody can really win in this league. The Stars have two games left, one against the last place team and the last game of the season against the first place team. The number one spot is out of reach, but one win will secure second for the Stars. |

![]() | Predators Get T-Branded After a rough trash talking game one against the Mississauga Predators, the Stars came out in their second start against them thinking it would be the same; but it was far from it. Scoring three goals in the opening few minutes, the Predators looked to give up early and the Stars just stuck it to them hard. With five goals in the first half and four in the second, the Stars started moving in their normal groove, even without Moore. Trevor stepped up to the plate and had 6 goals and 2 assists on the night, with 5 goals coming in a row, almost nailing a double natural hat-trick. A huge game awaits the team in green as they face the Rolling Stoners next Monday, after a long weekend full of booze and partying. |

![]() | Stars Get Revenge So, every team has faced each other once and the cycle has begun to be repeated. The Stars started off the season to a rocky 4-0 loss to the Blues at the beginning of the season. They were determined this time to get revenge. The pressure came early, but the Blues goaltender played well like he has done all season. It'd be the Blues that got on the board in the first half, as a point shot went wide, it would bounce perfectly from behind the net and out the other side where a player was waiting and just tapped it in. The Stars picked it up in the second half and would finally score on the Blues to tie the game as Allan fed Trevor for a beauty moving on-timer that went top shelf blocker side. From there the gates opened as the second line began connecting. Dave would net two back to back goals and Dwayne would get two assists as both players are leading the Stars this year in points, which is a first ever. They would hold on and win it 3-1. |
